Greetings, gamers!

I'm Claris (she/her), an aspiring game writer and game developer. I have written interactive fiction/Choose-Your-Own-Adventure games with Twine and other games using RPGMaker MV. However, I hope to branch out and try making visual novels with tools such as Ren P'y someday.

I've participated in game jams and in programs such as Pixelles' Game Writing program (Jan. 2023-March 2023). During my time in the program, I learned much about character design, cinematics, barks, and other game writing elements!

Current Projects:

Currently working on a short game entitled "Save The Prince!" This is a very different project compared to my previous works since I'm using a new system to make games with (RPGMaker MV)!

Current Projects/Events:

Untitled Game Jam #88 (Feb. 8th, 2024-Feb.18th, 2024)

I submitted "Lonely Campground" for Untitled Game Jam #88 based on the theme "Abandoned!" The game was made using RPGMaker MV. This game placed 6th out of all the jam submissions overall in rankings.

Untitled Game Jam #75 (March 9th, 2023-March 19th, 2023)

I just submitted a short interactive fiction game,"Help Your Unexpected Ghostly Roommate," to Untitled Game Jam #75! This game is meant to go with the theme "Otherworldy," and has multiple endings! I hope all of you enjoy playing it.

The Festival Of Horrors (Sept. 30th, 2021-Nov.1st 2021)

I submitted "The Festival Of Horrors," for the Themed Horror Game Jam #2, which runs from Sept. 30th, 2021 to Nov. 1st, 2021. I chose to cover the sixth theme, "Festival Of Horrors," and took on the additional challenge #6 to have multiple endings! I hope all of you enjoy playing it!

This is a text-based choose-your-own-adventure/interactive fiction game that I created on Twine. I highly recommend that you play this game in fullscreen mode for maximum enjoyment!

I am also excited to mention that it ranked 3rd place in the Jam as well! Thank you to everyone for your support!

"Autumn World" (Sept. 2020)

I submitted my game, "Autumn World," to the "Great Harvest" Game Jam! It's a text-based game like "A night at the office" and "Kingdom" were. This is also an interactive fiction/Choose-Your-Own-Adventure type of game, and I hope all of you enjoy playing it!

I'm also thinking of potentially expanding "Autumn World" into a fuller text-based game with more endings and choices, or maybe remaking it into a visual novel, so I'd appreciate the feedback you have for this game. Thanks for playing!

"Kingdom" (Aug. 2020)

I submitted my game "Kingdom" to the "I Can't Write But Want To Tell A Story" Game Jam! This is a much bigger game than "A Night At The Office," with three main routes and several good and bad endings. This is also an interactive fiction/Choose-Your-Own-Adventure type of game, and I hope all of you enjoy playing it!
